Helping in November
Founded in 2000, Capistrano Animal Rescue Effort helps the Homeless and Abandoned Cats and Dogs of San Juan Capistrano. By utilizing foster driven pet rescue, CARE's volunteer organization leverages the gifts of Supporters, Members and Your Generous Event Donations.
Along the way through our eight years of service to the community, more than 1,175 cats and dogs have found homes. Nearly all where retrieved or diverted from going to the Orange County Animal Shelter.
Proceeds of CARE events help to underwrite the medications, microchips, spay/neuter services, emergency surgeries and other expenses incurred in fostering and adopting the hundreds of cats and dogs that become homeless in the city each year. CARE is a 501c3 non profit charity. For your tax records, our Tax ID#: 33-0923931 (non-profit 501C3).
